Please don't delete this article[edit]

I known, wikispecies is not an encyclopedia for articles. But we need some pages for the {{Taxonavigation}} when referencing a classification.
Please don't delete this page without talking to me.

This is Commons, remember? But maybe redirecting all these to single page would be better to explain these classifications. Rocket000 13:45, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
We have a few similar articles, e.g., APG II. They are useful to those of us that work on plants, they are not a maintenance problem (so far), nor do they represent a class of articles that will ever grow very large. It occurs to me, however, that categories, rather than articles, might serve as well. Has this been discussed? It would require changing the taxonavigation template. A related discussion occurred in June 2007.[1] Maybe we should move this discussion to Commons talk:WikiProject Plants? Walter Siegmund (talk) 18:59, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
I was suggesting it might be better to describe the classification systems all on one page. Not for maintenance reasons or even keeping non-galleries out of the mainspace, but just to have all the information in one place so it's easier for users. I don't do a lot of work in this area so I'm sure you guys would know better. Rocket000 21:36, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
