Template parameters

2 | The taxon associated with the audio files category you are creating (for example, Felis (genus) for Category:Audio files of Felis, and silvestris (species) for Category:Audio files of Felis silvestris). If you are creating a species category, the species name should begin with a lowercase letter (for example, silvestris, not Silvestris). | empty | required | |
rank | The rank of the taxon in English, like this: rank=species. The accepted values are: class, order, family, genus, and species. | empty | required | |
dab1 | Where the category name in |1= is a disambiguation like Category:Ursus (genus), the term inside the parenthesis can be added here: dab1=genus. It will render the desired parent category correctly without adding the parenthesis to a species category. | empty | optional | |
