The regulations governing the use or display of the national flag for flagrant desecration are located in Chapter 3 of the "Singapore National Emblem, National Flag, and National Anthem Act", formulated by the Singapore National Emblem, National Flag, and National Anthem Committee. People who commit insults to the national flag, such as burning or tearing it up, will be fined at least 1,000 Singapore dollars. This is a non-copyright restriction.
