Use this template to add a reference to a taxon on the web site MycoBank by providing the taxon id on MycoBank.
Note: This template can be used in conjunction with {{taxoconflict}}, {{taxa}}, {{genera}}, {{genera2}}, {{species}}, {{species2}} and {{subspecies}} with parameter "source=MycoBank", "source=Fungorum & MycoBank" or "source=MycoBank & NCBI" (See here the different values for source)
{{MycoBank|2196|Haematomma|A. Massal. 1852}}
{{MycoBank|2739|Lepadolemma|Trevisan|nv }}
MycoBank link: Haematomma A. Massal. 1852
MycoBank link: Haematomma
MycoBank link: MycoBank/doc
MycoBank link: Lepadolemma Trevisan Not accepted
{{MycoBank | id | name | author | validity }}
  • id
the id of the taxon on MycoBank web site.
How to retrieve the id: In the web page, look for the value of entry 'MycoBank # :'
Remark: This id is the same as the one provided to {{Fungorum species}}, {{Fungorum genus}}, {{Fungorum family}}, {{Fungorum taxon}}. So you could provide both.
Sample (for Haematomma): 2196
  • name (optional)
The name of the taxon (without italic).
Sample (for Haematomma): Haematomma
  • author (optional)
The author of the taxon.
Sample (for Haematomma): A. Massal. 1852
  • validity (optional)
If the taxon is considered as unaccepted or synonym by MycoBank, add nv.
Sample (for Lepadolemma): nv
  • checks=no (optional)
This template compares the parameter <speciesId> with the property P962 stored in wikidata (Not in case nv is provided because taxon is not valid).
When different, a maintenance category is added.
checks=no disables this test when {{MycoBank}} does not describe the taxon described in wikidata (Happens when there are multiple call to {{MycoBank}} on the same category/gallery, mainly in monotypic taxons)
