edit request Please could you change this line:

This implements the move discussed at Commons:Categories for discussion/2017/08/Category:Images from the Geograph British Isles project, and also switches to proper numeric ordering in the category. --bjh21 (talk) 21:58, 16 October 2017 (UTC)

@Bjh21: Why using padleft? This seems an unneeded waste of recourse (especially if this template is used on 4 % of the Commons files as mentioned in the CfD). -- User: Perhelion 09:55, 17 October 2017 (UTC)
padleft is used to arrange that the files appear in the category in numerical order, rather than in lexicographic order of image number. In the current arrangement, the first three images in the category are numbers 1000, 10000, and 10018. My main reason for suggesting adding it is for consistency with Geograph and Geograph Channel Islands, both of which sort numerically and have done since 2010. This template is currently used on 3206 files, but there are over 100,000 more on Geograph Deutschland that could use it if they were imported. The figure of 4% was for Geograph, which already uses padleft. --bjh21 (talk) 11:01, 17 October 2017 (UTC)

Some edit requests[edit]

edit request First, in Geograph-de the first line
should be changed to
(like in template Geograph) or even set to some error message if the parameters are missing.

Second, also in Geograph-de the category Images from Geograph Deutschland should only be set for files, so, please, change the line

Third, some necessary adjustments for the sub template : Please replace …

{| align="center" style="width:100%; background-color:#f8f8f8; border:2px solid #e0e0e0; padding:5px; direction: {{Dir|{} }};"
| {empty}
{| style="width:100%; text-align:center; background-color:#f8f8f8; border:2px solid #e0e0e0; padding:5px; direction:{{Dir|{}}};"
| style="width: 60px;" |
| {empty}

This means a file is added and we get rid of the deprecated align="center" which by the way apparently has no effect anymore. — Speravir – 00:30, 21 March 2018 (UTC)
