editprotected I order to prevent image-notes, (which can be disturbing and cause unnecessary server cost,) to be loaded through this template, please wrap the image with:

To make it easier, here is the proposed new content. An example where image-notes are loaded is File:Death Penalty World Map.png. Thank you. -- RE rillke questions? 14:20, 16 September 2011 (UTC)

Avoiding red links[edit]

In line 6, please change ":File:PAGENAME" to "File:PAGENAME". There is no need to make this a link. When transcluded on file pages, the link will always point back to the file itself, which makes it a boldfaced non-link (like this), and on pages in other namespaces, it creates a nonsensical redlink, which is inevitably followed by a seemingly endless horde of lost and clueless souls who compulsively click the link, write some nonsense and save the result for everyone to behold; see File:Vector version available, File:Vector version available/als, File:Vector version available/cs, File:Vector version available/de, File:Vector version available/el, File:Vector version available/en, File:Vector version available/es, File:Vector version available/fa, File:Vector version available/fr, File:Vector version available/gl, File:Vector version available/hu, File:Vector version available/it, File:Vector version available/ja, File:Vector version available/ka, File:Vector version available/ml, File:Vector version available/pl, File:Vector version available/pt, File:Vector version available/pt-br, File:Vector version available/ru, File:Vector version available/sr, File:Vector version available/vi, File:Vector version available/zh-hans, and File:Vector version available/zh-hant. Misplaced arrow[edit]

Can somebody please replace the improper "sub" placement with "middle"?

✓ Done, thx. - Please include edit request in future when requesting edits on protected templates. Thank you! -- Rillke(q?) 11:18, 26 November 2013 (UTC)
Danke. So wichtig wars ja nicht. Ich wusste gar nicht, dass du Commons-Admin bist. :-) --TMg 17:00, 27 November 2013 (UTC)

edit request The icon (link) is not PD and requires attribution and needs to be either presable, or have a link to the description page in the template. Please change

Add noviewer to the icon[edit]

When I try to compare the SVG and non-SVG versions using MultimediaViewer, it’s really annoying that there’s an icon between them on the page. Please change

|

| class="noviewer" |

Too many links[edit]

At the moment there are many lines of links to I18n-templates; this bloates the box with the effect that the essential parts submerge - IMHO it is not in any way helpful but very irritating, one have to search for the essential parts in the huge box. BTW, normally nobody wants to see the I18n-templates: when the user has his translation, then others are of no interest; only when no version of the user's language exists, then the possibility should be offered to look for others. This is provided when the whole list, normally hidden, can be expanded:

Therefore editprotected Please copy the content of Vector version available/layout/sandbox to Vector version available/layout. -- sarang사랑 18:23, 15 May 2019 (UTC)
