About me

I have been fighting cancer since 2017 and died on January 27, 2026, at the age of 29. I have lived a short but happy life, and I would really like to wish all naturalists, and indeed everyone, success in their work. Never give up, even if you see an insurmountable wall ahead. I'm a naturalist with passion for photography, my wild animals' photos go to iNaturalist, but I needed a space to share other types of photos with anybody who'd wish to use them. Some species pages lack photos, if you know I can change that, comment here or on observation. My iNat profile.

Currently I undergo treatment for my stage IV breast cancer that returned after the 5-year hormone therapy had finished, I have multiple fractures in my spine and can't walk for now. Though it's a good time for uploading observations I missed fall months to go out and photograph anything when the pain levels were much higher, now I go out on a wheelchair and hope to photograph stuff that is listed in Wiki Loves Monuments and similar projects, but has no photos. Apparantely there's a lot to photograph for me and my friends are interested in that too. Also, I now realise that my animal photos can be of use here too, so when I will get an access to my hard drives, I will upload appropriate photos here too, it also would serve a purpose of showing that I have normal photos too, sadly as a naturalist first I can't spend too much time photographing anything else that won't go to iNat and I don't carry additional lenses.
