This page describes how to connect Commons media with locations in FornPunkt or Kulturmiljöregistret. Content linked using the method below will allow for the media to be displayed on FornPunkt.se and other sites such as Kringla.nu.

Connecting existing images to FornPunkt locations

To connect a media file to a FornPunkt location use Template:FornPunkt and give it the the FornPunkt identifier of the location you want to link(last part of the FornPunkt URL). Note that FornPunkt identifiers are case-sensitive.

To link a media file to multiple locations add multiple instances of the template.

Uploading new images depicting FornPunkt locations

While you can add FornPunkt templates to media after upload you can also create upload-flows that will add the template automatically using the following type of "Campaign" link. Replace <ID> with the FornPunkt identifier of the location you want to link.

You can not use this type of link if you want to link multiple locations to a media file during upload.

To connect a media file to a location in Kulturmiljöregistret use Template:Fornminne and give it the the Kulturmiljöregistret identifier of the location you want to link(last part of the Fornsök URL/ an UUID).

Note that wile the template is named "Fornminne" it's not limited to monuments protected by law. To link a media file to multiple locations add multiple instances of the template.
