I am Canadian, but I lived in Nantes, France in 2011 and 2012. I can be contacted here, or at the English Wikipedia (en anglais ou en français, comme vous voulez).
I used to have a JVC video camera that I used almost exclusively as a regular camera. It wasn't very good and the pictures are relatively low resolution and low quality. I often tried to make panoramas with Hugin to compensate for the very narrow field of view of my camera. I have also used a Sony Cybershot, an iPhone 4S, iPhone SE, and iPhone 11 Pro.
