About me

My name is Axel Cotón Gutiérrez and I live in Extremadura (Spain). I hold a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Extremadura (UEX) and a degree in Geography and History from the Spanish National University of Distance Education (UNED). I love photography. I specialise in photographs of archaeological sites, monuments and ruins on the one hand, and natural landscapes on the other. Some of my images have reached the semi-final or final stages of international Wikimedia contests and have been used by several national and international media (such as RTVE, La Sexta, El País, Egypt Today, Lifeder and Nomads Travel Guide).
