As a reader, I've been loyal to Wikipedia for many years now, and I appreciate the quick, straightforward way it lets you get into a topic. Since writing isn't really my strong suit, but I'm a passionate photographer, in early February 2024 I began making photos from my own collection available to the public — and these days I also take pictures specifically for Wikipedia. My goal is to enrich Wikipedia pages on a variety of topics with meaningful images. I'm especially fond of large-format panoramas, which I love to create. A gallery of my favorite works can be found below.
I also occasionally restore existing images from Wikimedia Commons, and for some time now I've been active on Wikidata as well. As for my workflow: I take and edit my photos almost exclusively on my smartphone (an iPhone 13 mini) — it's simply the most practical option for me, since I always have it on hand. I shoot in RAW and develop the images in Lightroom Mobile to achieve good quality even with simple means.
