User:LX/Unused user page images, 2005–2009
These are unused user page images uploaded between 2005 and 2008. The full list of such files were identified with this query, which looks for files in Category:User page images with no uses on Commons or on any other Wikimedia project. This is a subset of that list based on upload date. The intent of this page is to make it easy for myself to nominate the files for deletion using VisualFileChange, and to provide a visual overview during the course of the deletion discussion. Uploaders are listed below each image, with a link to their global account information, which shows the number of edits (including deleted edits) on all Wikimedia projects, which may give an indication of previous uses.
Images that are not realistically useful for educational purposes are generally outside of Commons' project scope and may be deleted. As an exception, users may upload a small number of images (e.g. of oneself) for use on user pages on Wikimedia projects. Such files should be tagged with {{user page image}}. Files tagged in this way that are not actually used may be deleted.
Files that are realistically useful for educational purposes should be placed in appropriate content categories and have the {{user page image}} tag removed from the file description. I intend to help with this work. —LX (talk, contribs) 18:30, 22 January 2016 (UTC)
