Hello! I’m Loren Sonowal, a passionate wildlife photographer, ecotourism promoter, and biodiversity conservationist based in Assam, India.

For the past 9 years, I’ve been working in the field of wildlife, bird, butterfly, and landscape photography, with a special focus on the rich natural heritage of Northeast India. My work highlights the biodiversity of regions across Northeast India.

I am the founder of Eastern Horizons, a travel and ecotourism company that promotes community-based sustainable tourism in Northeast India.

I work closely with Nature Conservation Society, supporting:

Butterfly walks and birdwatching events
Wetland and grassland restoration
Environmental education in schools and colleges
Community awareness about local flora & fauna
