VI[edit]

The Sasanian specimens are beautiful. They each deserve a promotion. I suggest to change the scope by linking it to the category like this. Silver vase with grape

If you mean other things you put in the comments field. --Archaeodontosaurus (talk) 14:57, 8 February 2013 (UTC)

The scope is too open. there must be the syntax I propose. You can, as here, propose the other images. --Archaeodontosaurus (talk) 10:05, 10 February 2013 (UTC)
is Sasanian metal art of Tabaristan a good scope?--Ταπυροι (گپ) 12:53, 10 February 2013 (UTC)
the good scope is : Sasanian metal art (Silver vase with grape) Like that the vase will be promoted and you can ask a label for other specimens.--Archaeodontosaurus (talk) 13:38, 10 February 2013 (UTC)
May both stay in Valued image candidates?--Ταπυροι (گپ) 14:16, 10 February 2013 (UTC)
yes the specimen is : vase with grapes, under Sasanian metal art. Try! --Archaeodontosaurus (talk) 14:39, 10 February 2013 (UTC)
Sasanian metal art of Tabaristan and Sasanian metal art (Silver vase with grape) have been confirmed by the Jetstreamer. Still this is not good?!--Ταπυροι (گپ) 14:47, 10 February 2013 (UTC)
No problem. It's a bit long, but the important thing is that the vase is cited. Now you can request the label for other pieces of Sasanian metal art. --Archaeodontosaurus (talk) 14:55, 10 February 2013 (UTC)
No luck, does not here. Test my scope. --Archaeodontosaurus (talk) 09:59, 11 February 2013 (UTC)
I wrote Sasanian metal art of Tabaristan (Silver vase with grape), What is the basis!? --Ταπυροι (گپ) 05:51, 12 February 2013 (UTC)

Tabaristan as a part of the Umayyad Caliphate[edit]

Salam..

Why did remove Tabaristan?

I had attached a source-book in the Description which explains that Tabaristan was a nominal part of the Umayyad Caliphate.

 • Quhistan, Jurjan and Tabaristan [1]--Agon001 (talk) 19:26, 18 April 2013 (UTC)
Farrukhan the Great defeat of Yazid ibn al-Muhallab. I have a many, many resources. Can you reading Persian wiki?
Its not Quhistan in Caspians coast.--Ταπυροι (گپ) 19:40, 18 April 2013 (UTC)

Even if Tabaristan was reconquered again during the Abbasid caliphate. This doesn't mean that it wasn't conquered by the Umayyads for the first time.

The source-book mentioned "History of Humanity" Volume IV "Edited by M. A. Al-Bakhit, L. Bazin and S.M. Cissoko and co-edited by M. S. Asimov, A. Gieysztor, I. Habib, Y. Karayannopoulus, J. Litvak king and P. Schmidt"

Its ISBN is: "978-92-3-102813-7", and it is issued by the UNESCO.--Agon001 (talk) 19:45, 18 April 2013 (UTC)

But it is a historical fact that Tabaristan period Mansour davaniqi (Abbasi khalife) was never conquered. (Except in the South parts)
Your source is not accurate. My sources have noted all the details. Named in the Umayyad conquered areas as well. These resources are limited and there were only a few months or weeks under Yazid ibn Mohlab. Even if it is part of the conquered Tabaristan, can you get all red in the map?A'zami, iranica, britannica, Pourshariati, Parvaneh &..... --Ταπυροι (گپ) 20:00, 18 April 2013 (UTC)
