Hi, I see you tried to fix my categorization actions. Although, most of the reverted actions can be acceptable, I think it is much better to be user-friendly (some overcat is unavoidable) not to try use always some (subjective) logic. Unfortunately my English is not so good to argue at professional level--Bioneer1 (talk) 19:24, 25 September 2013 (UTC)
Category:Transport in Viljandi
Hello, the Category:Viljandi railway station must be categorised into Category:Transport in Viljandi, which must be categorised into Category:Transport in Estonia by city. This categorisation is important, because a railway station is not only a building, but also a transport facility. Edits like this are not appropriate. The structure of categories is analogical with all towns and cities and that makes it possible to find a picture by various criteria. Thank you for your understanding. --Uacs451 (talk) 15:32, 19 January 2015 (UTC)
- I believe this is mainly the question of finding the optimal location unit that specific topics such as transport need to be divided by. It doesn't have to be necessarily every small town. There are 100s of smaller settlements in Estonian that probably never get their own transport category anyways though there is transport (there could be little number of transport images and hence it would be simply harder to find these from great number of small categories).
- I agree that the railway station dropping out of the transport category is a mistake. But preferable solution would have been adding it into Category:Train stations in Estonia. Sadly I didn't notice that this category was missing here (and still is) at the time. 22.214.171.124 16:44, 19 January 2015 (UTC)
I uploaded this image by Carl Sarap from the National Archives of Estonia. Could you please check if the copyright tag is correct and if this sufficient for use in Wikipedia. I am waiting your comments before uploading some more images. Beagel (talk) 13:29, 1 February 2015 (UTC)
