Unblock request declined

This blocked user asked to be unblocked, but one or more administrators has reviewed and declined this request. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked. Other administrators can also review this block, but should not override the decision without discussion.

Request reason: "Hello. I would like some loosening on my IP range - 2001:8003:A885:4B00:0:0:0:0/64 as this range is an ISP dynamic one, and this is not an "account", as seen in the block reason."
Decline reason: "Procedural decline: There have been no productive edits or users in the range for as far as there are CU data. (Further, indeed, /64 is generally one person; to argue semantics of "account" in a boilerplate rationale borders on disingenuous.) It is a good block. That said, I have indeed "loosen[ed]" it to 6 months, down from indefinite. Эlcobbola talk 15:53, 27 August 2018 (UTC)"[reply]

@Túrelio: Any thoughts on this request? --Majora (talk) 01:39, 26 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
These IPs seem indeed to be owned by Telstra Internet and this block may affect many of their users, so we should narrow it down. Sebari – aka Srittau (talk) 12:12, 26 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The /64 is generally one person for IPv6 addresses, Srittau. Per mw:Help:Range blocks/IPv6 that entire block is one subnet. So I can see why Túrelio did it this way. Narrowing it really won't do much. Indefinite blocks on any dynamic IP address seems like a little much though. --Majora (talk) 14:11, 26 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
