|After my return from a longer wikibreak, I have noticed your high level of activity as a nominator and reviewer at QIC. Your reviews strike me as being of a high level, you have a sharp eye for dust spots and of the defects, and when improvable things are noted by you, nominators are given a fair chance to solve the issues before declining. A pleasure to witness! Slaunger (talk) 05:49, 23 June 2014 (UTC)|

|hi sir, could you please tell me where are you taking this photo, i'm really like your photo, thank you http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:SabahStateRailway_JungleStationInPadasValley.jpg Ryliang (talk) 11:52, 18 April 2013 (UTC)|
|Hi, there Uwe Aranas. We bumped in Wikipedia earlier, however got off to a rough start earlier if you remembered. It was regarding one picture that I mistakenly assumed rights had been released. I had been too eager to clarify misinformation regarding the en: North Borneo Dispute during the heat of the Sulu invasion that I overlooked to check the copyright status. Again much apologies for that.
Well, I dropped by to give you a Sabah Barnstar for your good work in capturing many amazing quality pictures across Sabah. And as a local resident of Sipitang, I see many pictures of my old primary school, old church and the town. Thanks a lot for that, brings back nostalgia :). Much deserved Barnstar for you!

Important message for file movers
A community discussion has been closed where the consensus was to grant all file movers the
suppressredirect user right. This will allow file movers to not leave behind a redirect when moving files and instead automatically have the original file name deleted. Policy never requires you to suppress the redirect, suppression of redirects is entirely optional.
Possible acceptable uses of this ability:
- To move recently uploaded files with an obvious error in the file name where that error would not be a reasonable redirect. For example: moving "Sheep in a tree.jpg" to "Squirrel in a tree.jpg" when the image does in fact depict a squirrel.
- To perform file name swaps.
- When the original file name contains vandalism. (File renaming criterion #5)
Please note, this ability should be used only in certain circumstances and only if you are absolutely sure that it is not going to break the display of the file on any project. Redirects should never be suppressed if the file is in use on any project. When in doubt, leave a redirect. If you forget to suppress the redirect in case of file name vandalism or you are not fully certain if the original file name is actually vandalism, leave a redirect and tag the redirect for speedy deletion per G2.
The malicious or reckless breaking of file links via the
suppressredirect user right is considered an abuse of the file mover right and is grounds for immediate revocation of that right. This message serves as both a notice that you have this right and as an official warning. Questions regarding this right should be directed to administrators. --Majora (talk) 21:35, 7 November 2019 (UTC)
