Hi there, this image https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:2011-Sendai-Tsunami-DART-21413-AB.png was uploaded by you, just wondering if you know the source of the data? I was thinking about re-creating it as an SVG image but I would need the original data to do so. Cheers! MrAureliusR (talk) 02:55, 29 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

The chart was made in Excel and it was based on raw DART data. At that time it was available from National Data Buoy Center (it was called "Real Time Data in tabular form for the last forty-five days" with 1-minute measurement resolution). Chepry (talk) 01:25, 30 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

We are excited to announce Wiki Loves Folklore 2025, an international contest on Wikimedia Commons dedicated to capturing the beauty of folklore and intangible cultural heritage from around the world. Whether it’s vibrant folk festivals, traditional dances, soulful music, time-honoured culinary practices, unique attire, oral storytelling, or other cultural treasures, this is your chance to document and share the living heritage that unites us all.

How Can I Contribute?

It’s simple! Grab your camera, smartphone, or recording device, and start capturing photos, videos, or audio that tell the story of your local folklore. Once you’ve collected your media, head over to the Wiki Loves Folklore 2025 page and click on the Upload Now icon to submit your entry. For complete rules and guidelines, please visit our project page on Wikimedia Commons.
