Unblock request declined

This blocked user asked to be unblocked, but one or more administrators has reviewed and declined this request. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked. Other administrators can also review this block, but should not override the decision without discussion.

Request reason: "Why I has been blocked? I didn't made anything wrong, I'm contributing to this community only. Why blocking me? You said that I've been notified but I wasn't!DZwarrior1 (talk) 16:16, 14 September 2021 (UTC)"Reply[reply]
Decline reason: "I'm willing to give a bit more weight to the "but I wasn't notified" argument than usual considering that no warning messages have displayed since your last block. However, there were plenty of copyvio notices before then, so I don't really see it as a reason to significantly shorten the block. The previous blocks were for overwriting files, not necessarily copyright violations. But there have been copyright violations the whole time, and your behavior (overwriting logos without regard for copyright status or version differences) doesn't appear to have substantially changed since the last block. Nothing here indicates that the block is inappropriate, and you haven't given me a reason to think that you wouldn't continue to do the same thing if unblocked. Take some time to read the Commons:Policies and guidelines, especially COM:L, COM:SCOPE, and COM:OVERWRITE. --AntiCompositeNumber (talk) 00:45, 16 September 2021 (UTC)"Reply[reply]

In regards to unblocking - I can only see warnings for overwriting files but none for uploading unfree files but of course I may of missed something.Davey2010Talk 16:35, 14 September 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@Davey2010: Here and there you go.   — Jeff G. please ping or talk to me 20:22, 14 September 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Ah sorry Jeff G. I had a feeling I missed something! - I did skim both archives but still apparently missed that, In that case completely ignore everything I just said.
DZW you were indeed warned to pack it in yet you continued - Block's fine and you should count yourself lucky it's not indefinitely. Take the year to learn our policies here and learn what is and isn't acceptable here. –Davey2010Talk 20:28, 14 September 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Given the timing of the block, this may be related to this overwrite. @Taivo: did you perhaps accidentally select the copyvio rationale when you actually intended to select "overwriting files after warnings"? I don't see a copyvio proximate to the block, but the user has certainly received numerous copyvio warnings. In addition to Jeff's diffs, at the time this request was posted, the {{Copyvionote}} template appeared 17 times (!!!) on this page, which includes "Warning: Wikimedia Commons takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing" (bold in the original)). Deletion requests[edit]

Hello!

Please familiarize yourself with the threshold of originality of the country where a file is from before nominating it for deletion. All logos which you nominated lately have been below the TOO of Italy. Jonteemil (talk) 13:07, 27 September 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
