Welcome to Wikimedia Commons, Evalowyn!

I saw that you kind of struggled with the new 50-edit-rule. May I suggest that you simply try to add some descriptions on images in the language(s) that you speak to get the quota? I saw that you are a user from Sweden - there are only a few images with a swedish description, so it could be nice starting with that. :-) Regards, Grand-Duc (talk) 02:22, 10 January 2011 (UTC)

Oh, thanks for the tip! :D Ill try doing that when i have time. Evalowyn (talk) 11:49, 10 January 2011 (UTC)
Great, you've got enough edits! You might want to un-strike your vote here. --The High Fin Sperm Whale 21:21, 14 January 2011 (UTC)

FPCandiateicon.png Welcome to the FPC project, Evalowyn! Here, we nominate files to become featured pictures. Please read the image guidelines carefully before reviewing and nominating. If you have any questions, you can take them to the project's talk page. Again, welcome! --The High Fin Sperm Whale 21:21, 14 January 2011 (UTC)

I have asked from an association to use their logo in wiki article about their association. Let me know how i can use their logo in wiki commons. I have credited the author as well as source to their association website

Received Written Permission[edit]

Hi David,

It was very nice speaking with you yesterday too. I do apologize not getting back to Marc when he contacted me earlier last month. Our schedule has been quite hectic.

Yes, we will gladly give you and Temple Beth Sholom permission to use the four photos we shot of TBS for use on your Wikipedia page. I'm guessing you screen captured the selected photos from our website as .jpeg files.

In lieu of financial compensation, we would greatly appreciate photo credit for all the images used. New York Focus, LLC owns the copyrights to all photography taken by us. You must use the copyright symbol and also add our website URL: to your web page for ownership.

Our photos cannot be sold or transferred to other parties and can only be used for the Temple Beth Sholom's Wikipedia page. If you are in agreement with these requirements, then you can proceed accordingly.

One of the interiors is an image of the Sanctuary and the other is the Lobby seating area. Both exteriors feature the Temple's new wing addition and entrance. I'm sure Marc can give you a more in-depth description of each photo.

If you have any questions or need anything else, please let me know. I look forward to hearing from you.

Best, Cheryl

Henk Robijns video[edit]

Sorry for not submitting the license for this video. I thought the license was in the Open Beelden-template, but now I noticed it is not. I provided the right template. If you want to check its license, you should open the link in the source and click the little cc-button under the images. Clausule (talk) 21:51, 3 February 2011 (UTC)

Welcome Rollbacker[edit]

I have granted rollback rights to your account; the reason for this is that after a review of some of your contributions, I believe I can trust you to use rollback correctly by using it for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Commons:Rollback. If you do not want rollback, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Good luck and thanks. — [ Tanvir | Talk ] 09:12, 18 April 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for letting me informed, I'm sorry.--Jake-1979 (talk) 23:12, 29 October 2011 (UTC)

Congratulations, Dear Reviewer[edit]

Hi Evalowyn, thanks for your application to be an image reviewer. The application has been removed as successful, and you've been added to the list of reviewers. You can review all kind of image licenses on Commons. Please see Commons:License review and Commons:Flickr files if you haven't done so already. Backlogs include Flickr review, Picasa review, Panoramio review, and files from other sources. You can use [one changed here] of the following scripts by adding them to your common.js:

importScript('User:ZooFari/licensereviewer.js'); stable script for reviewing images from any kind of source
importScript('User:Rillke/LicenseReview.js'); includes user notification when review fails, auto blacklist-check and auto-thank you message for Flickr-reviews.

You can also add {{user reviewer}} or {{user trusted}} to your user page if you wish. Thank you for your contributions on Commons! -- RE rillke questions? 12:19, 17 November 2011 (UTC)

Sorry, I have to correct me. As you might have noticed, you get duplicate links that do the same or interfere with each other. Please remove one of the scripts from your common.js. Thank you. Again, I regret the inconvenience. -- RE rillke questions? 18:44, 19 November 2011 (UTC)
When you need the patroller-right, let me know. If you often look at the new files, you can define extra-buttons. Alex has some very useful in his js.
In case you have questions concerning scripts on Commons, let me know please. Have a nice weekend! -- RE rillke questions? 18:57, 19 November 2011 (UTC)
Removed one of the scripts, saved yours :) Thank you. Still trying to figure out how it works.. Evalowyn (talk) 19:45, 20 November 2011 (UTC)
There is no magic with the script. It would need a complete rewrite as I suggested there. I think you found the two links. License+ and License- in the "tabbar-cycler" (Screenshot: File:Licensereview.png). If you want to correct something, you have to click on edit before and do the changes. Don't save, just click on license+ and script will replace the license-review-request template with the reviewed-license template. For Flickr, it checks whether the user is in this list and notifies you, if so (then it is your decision how you proceed). It generates an automatic thank-you message, which you can post to the Photo on Flickr (you need an account there) as a comment. This was recommended by some people in order preventing uploading the same image from Flickr twice and giving the Flickr-user the chance to look at the image on Commons to check whether he is properly attributed. While the script is checking whether the user is a "bad author", the Ok-button is grayed out. If it is ready it changes the Ok button's state to normal. Are there still questions? No problem. Ask them right away. Thank you. -- RE rillke questions? 21:04, 20 November 2011 (UTC)

Luke Ford Pictures[edit]

Hi Evalowyn,

The pictures of LukeFord are from April 19, 2007 and are allowed to upload. These pictures are not from 2011. BR Gohe007 (talk) 15:37, 26 November 2011 (UTC)

To elaborate further, there is a valid OTRS ticket for the Luke Ford images as mentioned in the license statement used at Template:CC-LukeFord. I know as I was the one who got the permissions in the first place. Tabercil (talk) 18:48, 26 November 2011 (UTC)

Inactive Image-reviewers[edit]

Hello Evalowyn, there is a discussion about a request regarding your image-reviewer userright, which have never been used or not used recently. You can participate discussion in Commons:Administrators' noticeboard#Inactive_Image-reviewers. This is just a notification of discussion you may be involved. Best regards, --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 12:54, 2 February 2015 (UTC)
