Thanks for uploading File:Panorama_of_IAU_of_Arak.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.

Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own).

Warning: unless the permission information is given, the file may be deleted after seven days. Thank you.

this picture isnt for myself. one of users of fa.wikipedia uploaded this picture. I uploaded from it to commons.Gire 3pich2005 (talk) 21:34, 11 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
OK. We just missed the link to the original uploader. CommonsHelper or its version 2 are the right way to move images from a Wikipedia to Commons: they keep all the original logs and provide the original sourcing information. you should think about using one of them for your future imports. --Eusebius (talk) 17:01, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

the detail of this picture is compelete. so what is your problem? mentiond the model of camera & others details. my camera cant present other informations more than this! so, what is the problem???

do you want see my olympus camera or my itself G9 or my sx 1000 IS or S3IS to pass?! Gire 3pich2005 (talk) 21:31, 11 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Well, you keep crediting "Bimbo", so the "own work" statement is far from being clear. Additionally, this picture represents a pretty modern work of art, subject to copyright. Since there is no freedom of panorama in Iran, we need a written permission from the sculptor to publish this picture under a free license. Regards, --Eusebius (talk) 17:06, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

this picture isnt panorama ! I guess you must right this comment for top picture File:Panorama_of_IAU_of_Arak.jpg. this is a simple picture.Gire 3pich2005 (talk) 23:19, 12 September 2010 (UTC) THIS IS my another panorama. I can show you scater pictures of it.Gire 3pich2005 (talk) 23:27, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The term "panorama" here is just an expression taken from the German term Panoramafreiheit. The fact that your picture is of a panorama format is not relevant. Please have a look here to understand what this is about. --Eusebius (talk) 07:00, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I undrestand the rules that you expression. but! I cant undrestand what is relevant between them with this picture. File:Portal_of_IAU_of_Arak.jpg isnt a panorama format picture. It is a simple picture that any body can take is. so, why you dont remove danger template from this picture & add to the panorama picture?

this pcture isnt under panorama rules.!? Gire 3pich2005 (talk) 13:23, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This picture is a derivative work of a protected work (the sculpture). In some countries, a copyright exception named "Freedom of Panorama" (which has nothing to do with the format of th picture) allows this kind of picture to be taken as soon as the sculpture (or the building) is permanently located in a public place. It is not the case in Iran: there is no such copyright exemption, so the sculptor holds partial copyright over your photograph and it cannot be released under a free license without his permission. If you have access to the sculptor, you may seek his permission. If not, the picture will have to be deleted.
If you still don't understand, I suggest you ask Mardetanha to give you explanations in Farsi. --Eusebius (talk) 14:06, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

OK. Finaly I undrestood.this portal made by a unknown building company for IAU of arak. and now is one of the properties of IAU of arak. you want me a licence of IAU of arak to show this picture. no problem. i can prepare it. please give me a week for take the licence for this pic & other pictures that I uploaded at future. please give me a week.Gire 3pich2005 (talk) 21:53, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

OK, if the university declares that they hold full copyright over the work, then an e-mail from them would be ok. They should send an e-mail with this text (or an adaptation, in order to fit our particular case) to permissions-commons@wikimedia.org (sending it in English is preferable, but we can handle Farsi as well if necessary). --Eusebius (talk) 07:00, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

sorry. your request is a joke in IRAN. you dont know heavy security conditions in department of goverment that cocluded from it. I cant do this. at last I can present an official agreement with the charge and mardetanha Verificate it. mardetanha know restricts of these activityies in IRAN. please accept a scan of their permit after talk by your friend. File:Cargo_Ship_under_attack_in_Tanker_war.JPG has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

See the block log for the reason that you have been blocked and the name of the administrator who blocked you. Trying to cheat with the OTRS system (applying a ticket to other images, in blatant bad faith), after being once blocked for sockpuppetry and unfree uploads and unblocked "on parole".)

Note that this is the second ban for this user, and while in the past I did assume good faith in his will to comply with Commons's rules, this time he was deliberately dishonest with me and I would oppose any unblock (appeal can always be sought from COM:AN). --Eusebius (talk) 18:49, 21 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hi my friend. what is problem with me? why you block me? I didnt make sockpoint again. you block me infinite?!!! you said me upload their photos under his OTRS and I did it. please see model of cameras for these pictures that belong for him. you said me send commons ticket (your proverb) for all of him works and I said him and he did it. so, what is another problem. I am tired. I am going crazy for this fucking OTRS account in the system. if you dont want I edit here, please say me. I go away. why play with my emotions?
I did all of things you wanted. you cant block me.Gire 3pich2005 (talk) 20:14, 22 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That's what I say: you understood... and you used the ticket anyway, even though I told you not to do so. --Eusebius (talk) 09:50, 24 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I cant undrestand the mean of this sentence:even though I told you not to do so you know I can undrestand mean of simple sentences. I dont know why you didnt receive his email. I did my duty and I expected you welcome my uploads and my contributions. but you block me! what ever, if there is just way to end my punish, I call masoud bahadori and want him email you and again permit me to upload his pictures by his OTRS serial number. File:Iran_Gas_Fields_Location.png has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not.

Thank you!

Blocked[edit]

[The following is copied from Commons:Administrators' noticeboard]
User:Gire 3pich2005

He apparently violated the conditions of the lift of his latest indefinite block (not his first time). I grew tired of him in the past, apparently the same happened to Mardetanha (who unblocked him the last time) who doesn't want to hear about him anymore. Please be aware that he used to create sockpuppets in the past. --Eusebius (talk) 22:55, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I just want to make sure I understand this correctly. The user had an indefinite block. It was removed as follows:
":Per our discussion with you I have unblocked you , But you are neither allowed to upload any images nor to add any OTRS ticket to any images , performing such action would bring you indef block on sight --Mardetanha talk 13:24, 30 December 2010 (UTC)"[reply]
He has uploaded at least twenty files since that date.
Therefore, someone should block him. I'm happy to do that after Eusebius or Mardetanha confirms that such an action is appropriate or do I misunderstand?      Jim . . . . Jameslwoodward (talk to me) 23:46, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I dont make sockpoint. sysops can check me. this is insult from eusebius. If one of my pictures have problem, say me to explain. if my explains werent enough, sysops can delete it.
I dont know way Eusebius first complaint instead explain for exact problem. if he tired, why follow me? He can want to one of sysops to check my uploaded (like user:Martin H). I agree all his voted about my uploaded.Gire 3pich2005 (talk) 23:53, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Gire 3pich2005: I didn't follow you, I was only surprised to see you active on the Quality Image project. Saying that you made sockpuppets in the past is not an "insult". There are 6 blocked accounts registered here, so please don't act offended. I didn't say you were doing it right now.
James: You understand the situation, but I am not recommending or requesting any action. I'm joint pointing out some facts. Obviously I'm not objective. --Eusebius (talk) 08:08, 5 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

While Gire 3pich2005 has given us some good work, it appears that he or she is more trouble than he or she is worth. I have put DRs on the following files, uploaded since the conditional reinstatement by Mardetanha in December. They all are without credible source, date, or author.

Mardetanha's conditional reinstatement prohibited any uploads, not just bad ones. I think, therefore, that is clear that Gire 3pich2005 cannot live within the restrictions of the conditional reinstatement and should once again be blocked.      Jim . . . . Do you have a better version of File:Drive_some_luxury_cars_in_Arak.jpg?[edit]

Deutsch  English  español  français  magyar  Nederlands  polski  português  svenska  suomi  македонски  українська  日本語  עברית  +/−

Thank you for your submission of File:Drive_some_luxury_cars_in_Arak.jpg. While all submissions are useful, do you think you might be able to supply a better quality version of the same, or similar, content? In many cases, the largest and highest resolution possible is the most useful version to have available. (MediaWiki has automatic resizing functionality, so there is no need for multiple versions of the same image at different sizes, users can select any size and the software will generate and cache the needed resolution on the fly.)

If you can supply the same exact image as File:Drive_some_luxury_cars_in_Arak.jpg at a larger resolution (or media at a higher bitrate, etc.), please just upload it over the original, users will get the new higher quality version with no further effort on your part. If on the other hand, the content is only similar, it is best to select a new image name, as there may be uses already where some aspect of the existing media was key to the usage. In the latter case, if you can provide a crosslink reference to the new image in the older one and vice versa, that will be extremely helpful.

Again, thank you very much for your contribution, it is appreciated.

File:Major General Fakori 2.JPG has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not.

Thank you!
