Regarding the Svg template[edit]

Hi, I am browsing Top_200_chemical_images_that_should_use_vector_graphics from time to time and I've noticed that you added Convert to SVG to some png files, showing 3D models of chemical structures. Although well-intended, SVG is not an appropriate format for this kind of images, see Category:Chemistry_images_that_should_use_vector_graphics: 'Please don't add the convert template to 3D images of chemical compounds. These are extremly difficult to vectorize and result in very large file sizes.'

If there are no objections from you within the next few days, I would like to remove the Convert to SVG template on those file description pages to trim the category. --Nothingserious (talk) 08:33, 9 November 2015 (UTC)
