Please do not upload Fair Use pictures here
- Fair Use is a doctrine in United States copyright law (similar concepts exist in Common law countries, such as Fair Dealing in the United Kingdom) that allows limited use of copyrighted material without requiring permission from the rights holders under strict conditions. It's not free content and there is a debate on en: whether this exception should still be tolerated. Commons was built to host only free content.
- Regarding Fido Dido, you can check whether Fair Use is admitted on nl: (which I presume is your local Wikipedia). If so, you can upload your file locally. If you don't have it any more, I can undelete the file for a moment.
- You can contact Dutch-speaking users such as Bryan or Siebrand, they will explain it to you. Jastrow (Λέγετε) 09:04, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
There seems to be a problem regarding the description and/or licensing of this particular file. It has been found that you've added in the image's description only a Template that's not a license and although it provides useful information about the image, it's not a valid license. Could you please resolve this problem, adding the license in the image linked above? You can edit the description page and change the text. Uploading a new version of the file does not change the description of the file. This page may give you more hints on which license to choose. Thank you.
