Parliament building of Benin
I saw the picture mentionned in the subject on the Benin page as well as Porto-Novo page. And it is written that it is the siege of Benin Parliament. Please, note that this is wrong. The building name in French is Palais des Congrès which can be litteraly translated as Palace of Congress, but its purpose is just to host events like seminars, conference and meeting. Benin Parliament siege is the "Palais des Gouverneurs" in French. And it is located in Porto-Novo, not Cotonou. Since i'm not used to editing wikipedia articles, I think i might let you know so you can correct this.

Photo of inside of Cappella Palatina
Would it please be possible to have your permission to use your photo of the inside of the Cappella Palatina, specifically the one that shows the upper wall and part of the stalactite ceiling? I am writing a book on Norman Sicily and would really like to use this as the composition is so unusual. Thank you.
The Vernaccia pic
Hi, my name is Marco. I just would like to tell that the pic uploaded in the Vernaccia article it is not a Vernaccia from Sardinia, but (as stated on the label on the bottle) is a Vernaccia di San Gimignano. These two wines are quite different. I think the caption should be corrected. Best regards
image on wikipedia entry for margaret cavendish
The image you uploaded on the Margaret Cavendish page in Wikipedia does not represent her. According to her biography, Mad Madge, it is an image of Mary Lucas, her sister. Is it possible to remove it? It is misleading as is. This is the link to the image: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Margaret_Cavendish.jpg
please delete this picture, it's of me and i can't figure out how to delete it

Mislabel leading to Embarrassing Situations "Patch Adams at Sarvodaya.jpg"
Hello Magnus, My name is Derek Busby, and I am the assistant to Dr. Patch Adams. I am writing to you because the picture entitled "Patch Adams at Sarvodaya" has been incorrectly labeled. This picture is actually of Dr. Bowen White: http://bowenwhite.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/IMG_3774.jpg . While Drs. Adams and White are both amused by the mix-up, this picture has been used on several wikipedia pages (Spanish and Italian at least), and has been picked up by fans who came to believe this was a picture of Dr. Adams. We now have T-Shirts and a statue which feature the image of Dr. White, which have been presented to Dr. Adams--much to the confusion to all those involved. So, I would ask that you please edit this picture to reflect the reality that this is an image of Dr. Bowen White. Thank you. -Derek
Dear Magnus Manske,
Are you the owner of this lovely photo and if not, can you direct me to the photographer. http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Street_scene_from_Bundi,_Rajasthan.jpg
Hi Andrew, I used your awesome "JAWS" photo in a graphic. I ended up changing it quite a bit, but I still wanted to check with you before I publish it. Can I email you a copy? Thanks! Sarah firstname.lastname@example.org

File:Asarum europaeum 'Asarabacca' (Aristolochiaceae) plant.jpg
The plant represented here - and on the associated file File:Asarum europaeum 'Asarabacca' (Aristolochiaceae) flower.jpg is not an asarum europaeum, but an erythronium dens-canis:
Perhaps an overlooked issue?
Contains an element labelled "Aluminum Cans"... I cannot find any reference to that as a battery type. Is this a copy/paste error?
Error in a picture of Beau de Rochas diagram
The picture of the thermodynamic cycle here : http://fr.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Cycle_de_Beau_de_Rochas contains an error. V1 and V2 on the bottom axis must be switched !
maximale Länge (Zeichenzahl incl. Erweiterung) für Dateinamen auf Wikimedia Commons
Hallo Magnus Manske,
Bureau of Automotive Repair
The picture of the Headquarters for the Bureau of Automotive Repair is incorrect because the Bureau moved in May 2012.

Simon Fraser of Balnain
Hi Magnus I have written a book on the 1777 battles of Saratoga, which will be published by Oxford University Press next year. Simon Fraser of Balnain was mortally wounded in the second battle (about 3 PM on Oct. 7, 1777) at the moment that the battle and thus the entire American War of Independence reached its tipping point. It is, of course, important for us to include the image you uploaded, the only good one of Fraser. While I understand that credit is not required, I would like to include the credit line "Courtesy of Magnus Manske" or whatever alternative credit line you would prefer. Please contact me at email@example.com so that I am sure that I get this right. Dean Snow —Preceding unsigned comment was added by 22.214.171.124 (talk) 16:26, 03 December 2015 (UTC)

Flickr2commons and categories
Hi Magnus. Thank you for developing flickr2commons, for which I'd like to submit a bug report, or an enhancement request, if you like:
I transferred some 400 images from EBL Flickr account to category:2014 European Bridge Championships, Opatija. I spent a considerable amount of time categorizing the players' photos into appropriate country categories, e.g. category:Icelandic bridge players. However, many of those categories had not existed at the time – my plan was to revisit the photos upon upload and create appropriate red-linked categories. Now, to my surprise, flickr2commons only categorized the photos into existing categories, and stripped all the redlinks, wiping out most of my work. I'm going to fix the issue with cat-a-lot (and in retrospect, it's much better tool for the job). However, if you could fix that issue, or at least document it in the help popups, it would probably save someone else's effort in the future.
Another minor issue: Flickr apparently changed their URL naming scheme for albums, but the help popup in https://tools.wmflabs.org/flickr2commons/ for "photoset ID" still refers to "/in/set-#####". It's pretty obvious that the last part of the URL (album number like 1231798097) is required, but some change in wording would be beneficial, for clarity. No such user (talk) 07:12, 20 May 2016 (UTC)
