Hello Martin. I just received an invitation to contribute to the survey about the proposed Iceland Conference 2018. I didn’t know that the Commons Photographers User Group was planning this, but I fully support the idea and have submitted a response to the survey. When the CPUG was set up I did ask to be involved, but I see that the debate about who might attend Wikimania 2018 has not been widely circulated. Although I didn't know about the debate, I have independently applied for a scholarship myself. Best wishes Charles (talk) 10:47, 19 February 2018 (UTC)
- Hey Charles, I have to admit that I'm not really involved in planning the Iceland Conference. Unfortunately it seems I won't even be able to attend this great event... :-/ I suggest you talk to Frank. Cheers, --Martin Falbisoner (talk) 12:59, 19 February 2018 (UTC)
- Oops, thanks for letting me know, Christian! Just some weird copy/paste error, sorry. I used that line on Diego's nom... --Martin Falbisoner (talk) 07:31, 26 February 2018 (UTC)
- ok, I know all about that kind of mistake me too. :) Christian Ferrer (talk) 07:38, 26 February 2018 (UTC)
Hello. I recently proposed renaming the file "File:Portrait by unknown author.jpg" (current title). It appears finally however that the painting is indeed from Pierre Allais as originally claimed (although it certainly does not depict the person originally described): see . So I think it could be renamed "File:Pierre Allais (1700-1782), Ritratto di signora.jpg". What do you think? Sapphorain (talk) 11:52, 14 March 2018 (UTC)
