Congratulations, Dear Reviewer[edit]

If you use the helper-the scripts, you will find the links next to the search box (vector) or as single tabs (monobook). They are named license+ and license-

Hi Mlpearc, thanks for your application to be an image reviewer. The application has been removed as successful, and you've been added to the list of reviewers. You can review all kind of image licenses on Commons. Please see Commons:License review and Commons:Flickr files if you haven't done so already. We also have a guide how to detect copyright violations. Backlogs include Flickr review, Picasa review, Panoramio review, and files from other sources. You can use one of the following scripts by adding one of the lines to your common.js:

importScript('User:ZooFari/licensereviewer.js'); // stable script for reviewing images from any kind of source OR
importScript('User:Rillke/LicenseReview.js'); // contains also user notification when review fails, auto blacklist-check and auto-thank you message for Flickr-reviews.

You can also add {{user reviewer}} or {{user trusted}} to your user page if you wish. Thank you for your contributions on Commons! Armbrust (talk) 08:39, 4 August 2012 (UTC)

If you created this project page, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue.
Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

<moved from my user page, let's keep discussions in one place> I am so glad to see an editor on top of it, I have no idea why a "File repository" would host personal pictures of pets, friends, etc. I also found some more "File:Staffordshire Bull Terrier - Labrador cross.jpg, If your on a mission this file can be found on Your Userpage. Thanx for cleaning up the project. Mlpearc

"Unused personal file" is a valid (and often used) deletion reason here. See following policies/guidelines: Commons:What_Commons_is_not#Commons_is_not_your_personal_free_web_host, Commons:PS#Must_be_realistically_useful_for_an_educational_purpose, Commons:PS#Examples. The file you linked as an example of my alleged hypocrisy is not comparable to the file I listed for deletion discussion. It has way more technical and educational merit. If you insist to store a photo of your pet on Commons then at least provide a file that has realistic usefulness for an educational purpose. --Pitke (talk) 20:16, 13 November 2013 (UTC)
I fully understand your tagging, I'd do the same thing. I would hope that I'd recognize a "personal" file from an "information" file, example: File:Atlanta Friday 2009 190.JPG. No worries about deleting my file, I have it on my project, I think, when tagging a "personal" file I'd not use a templated message, but a hand typed message of "hey, we have these issues with your file File:Cocoa 5-15-10.jpeg, just a thought. Cheers, Mlpearc (powwow) 19:20, 14 November 2013 (UTC)
