Thanks for helping out
I see you have been active helping with categorizing photos at Category:Airliners.net photos (check needed), would you mind adding your name to the project members list at Commons:Batch uploading/Airliners? I've just set up this page so that everyone is a bit clearer about how it works and it is a good way of ensuring that folks interested get notified of changes. Hello. I just wanted to let you know that I have granted autopatrol rights to your account; the reason for this is that I believe you are sufficiently trustworthy and experienced to have your contributions automatically sighted. This will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to help users watching Recent changes or Recent uploads to find unproductive edits amidst the productive ones. Thank you. whym (talk) 11:05, 2 January 2014 (UTC)
Aviation Traders ATL-98 Carvair 9J-PAA
Hello, thank you for your detailed contribution on 9J-PAA. I have moved it to the correct Category:Aviation Traders ATL-98 Carvair, where it is in good company with all the other Carvairs. All of your other details remained untouched. --Uli Elch (talk) 13:25, 21 October 2014 (UTC)
Hi, I notice that you sometimes assign non-existent (ie red link) categories to images, eg Category:8Q-TMZ. As you should be aware, the primary purpose of categorising is to enable users to find images of interest to them, per COM:CAT. In this case, the images cannot be found via the hierarchical category trees, because they are hidden from there. At a bare minimum, images of aircraft should be assigned categories that are accessible under the parent, Category:Aircraft. I hope that you will study the category schema, and to bear all this in mind when applying categories. Reply not expected. MTIA, PeterWD (talk) 14:46, 14 January 2015 (UTC)
