Catégorisation

Bonsoir. Concernant Jean-Henri Bachofen. Il n'est pas indiqué d'ajouter les catégories des bâtiments qu'il a "conçus" (dont il a dessiné les plans ?, qu'il a fait construire ?) a un portrait ! Au contraire, la Category:Jean-Henri Bachofen peut être ajoutée, par exemple, à Category:Temple of Versoix, en tant qu'architecte (c'est fait, ainsi que pour la synagogue). pierre tombale isolée ≠ cimetière

Bonjour. Merci pour ces nombreux compléments concernant les églises et les cimetières.

Concernant le fichier File:TombstoneWilliamGeisendorf-ParcDeTressyCordy-Lancy RomanDeckert21022022-01.jpg (et d'autres), vous écrivez « le monument funéraire se trouvait au cimetière de Lancy ». Il me semble abusif de catégoriser « cimetière » quand il s'agit d'une pierre tombale isolée. Dans ce cas je propose plutôt de catégoriser Category:Funerary monuments in Switzerland et Category:Gravestones in the canton of Geneva (qui est par ailleurs une sous-sous catégorie de Category:Cemeteries in the canton of Geneva). Cela permettrait par ailleurs de simplifier partout où il n'y a qu'un cimetière par commune.

C'est en créant Category:Funerary monuments in Switzerland et en regardant ce qui se passe pour France et Allemagne, que j'ai remarqué que les structures des catégories pouvaient être plus fines, mieux articulées.

Concernant Category:Sami Kanaan, inutile d'ajouter "Kanaan" à chaque catégorie. On pourrait mettre {{DEFAULTSORT:Kanaan}}, mais, encore plus simple, il suffit d'indiquer le nom de famille dans Wikidata (w:d:Q17126453), ensuite c'est automatique :-)--MHM (talk) 19:23, 24 May 2022 (UTC)

Plus exactement, il faut que la catégorie "XXXX (surname)" soit présente. Pour Carole Anne Kast, ce n'était pas le cas, mais en ajoutant cette catégorie, le classement par défaut selon le nom de famille fonctionne.--MHM (talk) 06:00, 25 May 2022 (UTC)

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the 2022 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the seventeenth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2022) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year are all entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

For your convenience, we have sorted the images into topical categories. Two rounds of voting will be held: In the first round, you may vote for as many images as you like. The top 30 overall and the two most popular images in each category will continue to the final. In the final round, you may vote for just three images to become the Picture of the Year.

Gedenkstein Alitalia AZ 404

The title you gave to your work dated January 26, 2023 is somewhat misleading. The crash site is NOT on territory of Stadel ZH, but on Weiach soil. Therefore, Weiach municipal secretary had to deal with all the formal paperwork concerning the death of a person. 46 dead people to be inscribed into the official death record. -- Weiacher Geschichte(n) (talk) 22:59, 28 July 2023 (UTC)

It was really a harrowing tragedy and I took the pictures in the hope that they strengthen the commemoration of its victims, so your actions are much appreciated. No problem. It's a common misconception, mainly because the name encompassing the totality of the hill is "Stadlerberg" (derived from the highest point). So, geographically, the Büro für Flugunfalluntersuchungen was right to name its report accordingly. BTW: even Stadel authorities themselves were unsure, whether the accident took place in their jurisdiction. But when the mayor and the secretary of Stadel municipality inspected the impact site early on November 15, 1990, they could tell soon it was not their area of responsibility. Hence they immediately called the Weiach secretary, Hans Meier, and told him: "Your job, sorry!" Weiacher Geschichte(n) (talk) 13:10, 30 July 2023 (UTC)

bald ist es soweit: Vom 1. bis zum 30. September 2023 findet zum dreizehnten Mal der internationale Wettbewerb Wiki Loves Monuments (WLM) statt. Dabei können Bau-, Boden- und Kulturdenkmale fotografiert und die Fotos hochgeladen werden. Du hast an einem der vergangenen Fotowettbewerbe teilgenommen. Deshalb laden wir dich gern wieder ein, dieses Jahr mitzumachen. Wir freuen uns auf deine Fotos!

Vergangenes Jahr hat Radomianin mit einer Gesamtansicht von Kloster Paulinzella gewonnen. Welcher Fotograf oder welche Fotografin tritt dieses Jahr die Nachfolge an?

Nach WLM 2022 sind wieder zahlreiche neue Denkmallisten entstanden – zum Beispiel die Denkmallisten in Waltershausen in Thüringen oder in Fulda.

Für die Suche nach Motiven gibt es bei Wikipedia zahlreiche Listen und Karten. Als Einstieg hilft diese Übersichtsseite. Weitere Informationen erhältst du auf der Mitmach-Seite.

Für das einfache Auffinden haben wir eine Upload-Karte erstellt, in der viele aber leider noch nicht alle Kulturdenkmale angezeigt werden können. Das Laden der Objekte dauert dort etwas.

Wir haben dieses Jahr „drei Sonderpreise für Bilder von Friedhöfen“ ausgelobt. Zugelassen sind für den Sonderpreis auch Fotos von Friedhöfen, die nicht denkmalgeschützt sind.

Dabei können Bau-, Boden- und Kulturdenkmale fotografiert und die Fotos hochgeladen werden. Du hast an einem der vergangenen Fotowettbewerbe teilgenommen. Deshalb laden wir dich gern wieder ein, dieses Jahr mitzumachen. Wir freuen uns auf deine Fotos!

Vergangenes Jahr hat GPSLeo mit dem Verladeturm Oderhafen Groß Neuendorf während eines Hochwassers gewonnen. Welcher Fotograf oder welche Fotografin tritt dieses Jahr die Nachfolge an?

Nach WLM 2024 sind wieder zahlreiche neue Denkmallisten entstanden – zum Beispiel in Greiz in Thüringen oder in Königslutter am Elm in Niedersachsen. Nachdem es in Thüringen über lange Zeit nicht überall Kulturdenkmallisten gab, ist dieses Bundesland jetzt fast vollständig abgedeckt und die Listen freuen sich über Fotos. Hier findest du einen Einstieg in die Thüringer Listen.

Wiki Science Competition 2025 in Switzerland

Dear uploader of Wiki Loves Earth in Switzerland, Wiki Loves Monuments in Switzerland and Wiki Loves Switzerland , we would like to remind you that Wiki Science Competition 2025 has started in the whole world. It is now open in your country until December, 15th.

If you want to take part in Swiss WSC2025, please consult this page. There are different categories that can be used (you might therefore have something already interesting in your archive). Prizes can be allocated for the 1st and 2nd positions in every category.

If you are an expert user, we remind you that the images uploaded within the deadline can be included in any case in their national category by simply adding the national category (even if not uploaded with the main interface).

If you take part, please consider to provide a complete description in English of your files, since such description is what the international jury will use to evaluate them at the following step. World finalists will be finalized after March 2026.

Dear Wikimedian,

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the 2025 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year is the twentieth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favourite images featured on Commons during the last year (2025) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year are all entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

For your convenience, we have sorted the images into topical categories. Two rounds of voting will be held: In the first round, you may vote for as many images as you like. The top 30 overall and the top 5% of most popular images in each category will continue to the final. In the final round, you may vote for just five images to become the Picture of the Year.

Round 1 will end on 18 April 2026, 23:59:59 UTC.

Wikimedia Commons is pleased to finally announce the winners of this year's Picture of the Year 2025 contest! We had some truly incredible finalists to choose from, but the community has spoken.

I also want to highlight what an incredible turnout we had. In the second round, we saw a massive jump in both the number of users voting and the total votes cast. We had exactly 13,979 votes cast by 3,509 users! To put that in perspective, last year we had 7,403 votes from 2,837 users. It is amazing to see that level of growth and community engagement.

Thank you to everyone who voted, helped organize, and generally made the contest such a huge success this year!

Wiki Loves Monuments 2026 - Deutschland

Sieger 2025 – Festhalle Frankfurt

bald ist es soweit: Vom 1. bis zum 30. September 2026 findet zum 16. Mal der internationale Wettbewerb Wiki Loves Monuments (WLM) statt. Dabei können Bau-, Boden- und Kulturdenkmale fotografiert und die Fotos hochgeladen werden. Du hast an einem der vergangenen Fotowettbewerbe teilgenommen. Deshalb laden wir dich gern wieder ein, dieses Jahr mitzumachen. Wir freuen uns auf deine Fotos!

Vergangenes Jahr hat Martin Kraft mit einer symmetrischen Innenaufnahme der Festhalle Frankfurt gewonnen. Welcher Fotograf oder welche Fotografin tritt dieses Jahr die Nachfolge an?

Nach WLM 2025 sind wieder zahlreiche neue Denkmallisten entstanden – zum Beispiel in Varel-Land in Niedersachsen – oder wurden umfangreich erweitert – wie Göttingen oder Osnabrück in Niedersachsen oder Tambach-Dietharz und Hörsel in Thüringen. Nachdem es in Baden-Württemberg über lange Zeit sehr wenige Kulturdenkmallisten gab, gibt es jetzt dort für jede Gemeinde und jede Stadt eine Kulturdenkmalliste. All diese Listen freuen sich über Fotos. Hier findest du einen Einstieg in die Baden-Württemberger Listen.

Für die Suche nach Motiven gibt es bei Wikipedia zahlreiche Listen und Karten. Als Einstieg hilft diese Übersichtsseite. Weitere Informationen erhältst du auf der Mitmach-Seite.

Für das einfache Auffinden haben wir eine Upload-Karte erstellt, in der viele, aber leider noch nicht alle Kulturdenkmale angezeigt werden können. Das Laden der Objekte dauert dort etwas.

Wir haben dieses Jahr drei Sonderpreise für Bilder zum Thema „Gastronomie und Lebensmittelhandwerk – Orte des Genusses“ ausgelobt.

Außerdem gibt es drei Sonderpreise für hochgeladene Scans von alten Aufnahmen. Dafür darfst du auch Fotos hochladen, die nicht von dir erstellt sind.

Außerdem laden wir Dich ein, ab Anfang September 2026 an der Vorjury teilzunehmen. Diese bewertet die hochgeladenen Bilder und ermittelt so gemeinsam mit der Jury, die Anfang November tagen wird, die Sieger von Wiki Loves Monuments 2026 in Deutschland. Das Vorjurytool ist hier bald freigeschaltet. Du benötigst dafür nur deinen Benutzernamen und das Passwort.

Vorjury-Tool 

Es gibt dieses Jahr eine Änderung. Von jedem Uploader kommen nur 50 Bilder durch die Vorjury. Damit soll erreicht werden, dass viele Bilder unterschiedlicher Fotografen der Hauptjury vorgelegt werden. Wir möchten natürlich trotzdem viele Bilder auch von demselben Motiv aus verschiedenen Blickwinkeln erhalten. Nutze die Möglichkeit, hochgeladene Bilder von der Bewertung durch die Vorjury auszuschließen. Damit unterstützt du den Wettbewerb mit vielen Motiven und entlastest die Vorjury.
