My pictures,[edit]

Excuse me. My picture BIBUD.png, is totally allowed to be posted on Wikipedia, look:

" Private use of the images created on SP-Studio.de is allowed. You can print them, use them for single T-Shirt, wallpapers or birthday card. School projects are fine too. But remember this: Always mention where those images come from! For example if you show SP-Studio pictures on your private homepage, Facebook, Blog or in a message board add a link to www.sp-studio.de. It doesn't matter if you add it to the picture or mention it elsewhere. You are allowed to use them for videos or comics too, as long as you give me credit. Avatars and small images do not need a link." - http://www.sp-studio.de/help.htm

Please, do not delete it.

Query[edit]

Not that I'm particularly fussed about my 'user rights' here, but could you please explain why you revoked rights conferred here - with a succinct rationale supplied for the provision of these rights - by sysop Sealle? You, on the other hand, have revoked these rights without so much as a courtesy summary. Thank you, in advance, for your response. --Iryna Harpy (talk) 05:16, 30 April 2017 (UTC)

@Iryna Harpy: Hi there. I removed the confirmed user group since you have been autoconfirmed. The confirmed group is used by users to get around the four day period before users get autoconfirmed. It is assigned directly by administrators, while autoconfirmed rights are automatically given after 4 days. It contains the same rights as the autoconfirmed group. Once you became autoconfirmed, the confirmed group became reductant, so I removed it (It's standard to remove the confirmed group from users to keep the user list from getting too crowded.) It didn't remove any rights from you regardless since the autoconfirmed group has identical rights. See Commons:Autoconfirmed users for details. Techman224Talk 05:34, 30 April 2017 (UTC)
Cheers for the explanation. In essence, there is no difference between the 'rights' conferred on me (as a 'trusted, experienced user') than on en.wikipedia where I don't even remember having ever used them as I 'revert' or 'restore' previous stable versions based on policy and guidelines. I've never been quite certain as to the usefulness of these functions outside of some form of bragging rights I don't care about. Ultimately, there's no difference between following protocols or abusing 'autoconfirmed' rights whether you've asked for them or not. Good practice and bad practice speak for themselves. Got it! --Iryna Harpy (talk) 05:46, 30 April 2017 (UTC)

De-adminship warning[edit]

This talk page in other languages:

Dear Techman224. I am writing to inform you that you are in danger of losing your adminship on Commons because of inactivity.

If you want to keep your adminship, you need both to sign at Commons:Administrators/Inactivity section within 30 days of today's date, and also to make at least five further admin actions in the following six months. Anyone who does not do so will automatically lose administrator rights.

You can read the de-admin policy at Commons:Administrators/De-adminship.

Thank you--B dash (talk) 08:05, 19 August 2017 (UTC)
