Hi TheGrappler. I copied the image from the EN:WP, as one can see in the interwiki. Although no source and author are indicated, it is obvious that the author died more than 70 years ago. If you do not agree, then delete it. Mschlindwein 19:35, 6 July 2006 (UTC)

Please help replace this outdated license[edit]

Thank you for donating images to the Wikimedia Commons. You have uploaded some images in the past with the license {{PD}}. While this was a license acceptable in the early days of Wikimedia, since January 2006, this license has been deprecated and since October 2008 no new uploads with this license was allowed.

The license on older images should be replaced with a better and more specific license/permissions and you can help by checking the images and adding {{PD-self}} if you are the author or one of the other templates that you can see in the template on the image page.

Thank you for your help. If you need help feel free to ask at Commons talk:Licensing or contact User:Zscout370.

The images we would like you to check are:

Hi there, you've notified me of deletion as an uploader of this pic. Actually I just moved it from en.Wiki while tidying various pages there. So if the "batch upload" you're referring to was to Commons, then that was me and the origins of the pictures in the batch will all be different. If it was a batch upload to en.Wiki, that's a different matter. JackyR (talk) 10:30, 28 August 2010 (UTC)

Oh no sweat. Actually I've been off Wikipedia so long it's been good to get a prod to get back to work... :-) JackyR (talk) 13:11, 29 August 2010 (UTC)

I am now proud owner of a TUSC account!

You tagged this file as a copyvio. Please convert it in a regular DR so that other users can take part in a discussion about this. {{copyvio}} should only be used for blatant copyvios. Thank you in advance. --High Contrast (talk) 20:38, 8 September 2011 (UTC)

If a dubious image version is uploaded on top of a previous image version which had OK copyright, then it's really not productive or constructive in any way to slap a "speedy" tag on the image. The correct thing to do is to revert to the previous OK image version, and then consider how to get the problematic version purged from the history... AnonMoos (talk) 01:58, 23 September 2011 (UTC)

I'm not sure what the most correct procedure is. The all-purpose catch-all is to ask at the Administrators' noticeboard... AnonMoos (talk) 01:52, 25 September 2011 (UTC)

I can't really tell what user is responsible from the link you posted, but if you don't want to do all the work manually (posting a notice on each individual image description page pointing towards a centralized deletion discussion area), you can raise the issue on Commons:Village pump (as I recently did) or Commons:Administrators' noticeboard/User problems -- AnonMoos (talk) 10:50, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
