Problem with File:Abkhazian Air Force.svg[edit]

Your upload didn't work quite right. I've reverted it to the old version for now, just so there's a working version. Octane 08.01.10 0253 (UTC)

File:Russia new alternate roundel.svg[edit]

File-Russia new alternate roundel (construction sheet).png

Here is the construction sheet I had used. You think there is anything wrong with it? And the angle of an equilateral 5-pointed star is 36°, not 38°.

Вот чертеж, который я использовал. Вы считаете, что что-то в нем неверно? И угол у равносторонней 5-конечной звезды 36°, а не 38°.

I Know, But Official Design attached to the March 4th degree is NOT a equilateral 5-pointed star which is why I told you it isn't 36° after I checked the Image and the bands Appear to be thicker.

Here's the Attached Image I extracted from the Official .doc file (Please note it is slightly misaligned) --Thegunkid (talk) 15:11, 1 May 2010 (UTC)

The star on this picture indeed looks a bit not equilateral, but since I cannot tell how much this picture can be trusted (maybe it was drown in five minutes by somebody's secretary in MS PowerPoint?) I won't change the file unless I'll see an official text or consrtuction sheet where it's explicitly said that the star is not equilateral. I already met such cases, when the official description of a symbol did not match the picture attached to a law (e.g. the flag of Krasnoyarsk Kray), and I preferred to follow the text, since it's more explicitly defined. Hellerick (talk) 03:29, 2 May 2010 (UTC)

Still regardless of angles, the white and blue bands still appear to be too thin. --Thegunkid (talk) 17:40, 2 May 2010 (UTC)

Also if it wouldn't be to much to ask, could you do me a favor and vector the Abkhazian Roundel I made since I have no Idea how to make .svgs.

File:Baker's San Felipe Flag.svg[edit]

That was a one-off unofficial flag, so I'm not entirely sure what the purpose of such standardization would be. AnonMoos (talk) 23:42, 1 September 2016 (UTC)

Because it's only logical to assume it used the green from the flag of Mexico. --Thegunkid (talk) 07:57, 6 September 2016 (UTC)
Your ideas about how standardized flags were in 1830s Mexico/Texas would appear to be somewhat historically anachronistic -- and that's assuming that 1836 Mexican flag green was automatically the same as 2016 Mexican flag green (not necessarily true). A few years back, User talk:Flad tried to standardize all Arab-related flags and emblems with green in them to use a single shade of Pan-Arab green, with results that were not entirely fortunate... AnonMoos (talk) 23:56, 6 September 2016 (UTC)
That may be true, but the Green is far brighter than any other complementary flag in either Mexico's or Texas' State Archives, and appears to have been randomly chosen. --Thegunkid (talk) 06:51, 7 September 2016 (UTC)
