Hi! How did you make this image? Dcarlson 23:49, 23 April 2007 (UTC)

Quite simply - by drawing the known distribution on the map and inserting text (all in Paint). Ucucha 18:54, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

Hi, thank You for Your explanation. --R. Engelhardt (talk) 21:33, 13 March 2010 (UTC)

Ucucha (talk) 13:27, 15 March 2010 (UTC)

Hello, Ucucha!

Tip: Add categories to your images

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Thanks again for your uploads! More information about categorization can be found in Commons:Categories, and don't hesitate to leave a note on the help desk.

Libyan protests pictures[edit]

Don't they fall under CC license as stated on the source website. I'm confused as to which ones are ok to use.Rafy (talk) 16:44, 21 February 2011 (UTC)

Ok I jst read the reason for deletion. Can these ones be used instead? Rafy (talk) 16:50, 21 February 2011 (UTC)
I don't think so; they have NC (noncommercial) as part of the license. You need CC-BY-SA or something more permittive. Ucucha (talk) 02:10, 22 February 2011 (UTC)

Why "Geography suggests..." - it is an animal from a zoo? Bulwersator (talk) 20:44, 25 March 2012 (UTC)

Someone else asked me about this on my en.wikipedia talk page, and I replied there first, so see w:en:User talk:Ucucha#Tarsier ID. Ucucha (talk) 15:40, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
