日本語: 本学の徽章はアカンサスの葉の輪郭を模様化したなかに「芸大」の二字を収めたデザインとなっています。アカンサスは、優雅な曲面と複雑で変化に富む輪郭線とに面白みを見出され、ギリシャの柱頭をはじめ、建築や工芸品で広く使われてきました。花言葉は「芸術」「技巧」となっています。この徽章は本学の前身である東京美術学校と東京音楽学校が統合され、東京藝術大学となった際、昭和25年（1950年）に学内コンペにより選ばれ、現在まで使用されています。 |
