FAKE Identification[edit]
Although the date of 1896 coincides with the ascents of the Norman Neruda couple, and despite the identification of the same probably being "ancient," personally, with the knowledge of many photos of the couple, including those different from the official ones, private and present in the collections of the heirs, I doubt that it is them. Just enlarge the two portraits and compare them, and you have in front of you a man in this case much older than Neruda, who in 1896 was only 32 years old! And May was neither so robust nor did she have a flat nose. We are evidently facing a historic but false identification. 82.55.234.18 22:50, 20 May 2024 (UTC)
