Ferdinand Johannes Jacobus (Frits) Maris (The Hague, 1873-06-01 - Voorburg, 1935-06-08) was a painter from the Netherlands. Frits Maris was a cousin/nephew of Willem Maris.
He was a student at the Akademie van Beeldende Kunsten at The Hague, and was a pupil of Fridolin Becker, Simon van den Berg, Frits Jansen (1856-1928), Willem Maris and Jan Toorop. He was active from 1896 - 1935. He made etchings, lithographs, paintings, drawings and watercolours. His works encompass landscapes, cityscapes, still life paintings and figurative art.
