English: Newton Bromswold is a very small village about east of Rushden, just inside Northamptonshire's border with Bedfordshire. There are around 28 houses, a pub and a small church. The village pub features in one of local author H.E. Bates's novels. The village takes its name from the forest which once stood where the village is today, called Bruneswald Forest.
