Advice needed on old Soviet copyright issue - Wikimedia Commons I need your help in finding a free copyright argument for an image in Commons. This is the last "Soviet" image of the 1940 revolution in Estonia. A particular problem is the fact, that the photo was taken *before* Estonia joined the Soviet Union. Estonian copyright law *might* thus apply. Would this be free content if it was published in the Soviet Union outside Estonia?
