| Description |
English: Congenital pulmonary lymphangiectasia. The neonate died unexpected and suddenly several hours after term delivery. The lungs were severely hypoplastic und underdeveloped. Typically bilateral chylous pleural effusions are found. The disease can be limited to the lungs or involve other organs. The prognosis is poor. HE stain.
