English: The reopened Empire Cinema, Stanley Street, Holyhead Opened in 1927, this 700 seater cinema is the sole surviving cinema in Anglesey. In 2008 the cinema and bingo hall closed. The Anglesey County Council stepped in and the cinema was given a new lease of life aided by joint county and Welssh National Assembly funds
