Summary[edit]

Description Before going on to Berlin, London and Paris, the ten sculptures sit proudly for 3 months in the heart of Brussels. Nuestros Silencios is an urban project, designed to be displayed in the public places of European cities before going back to Mexico in 2011. "The Guardians" are made of bronze but there is another sculpture called "The touch box" designed for the blind. This eleventh piece is unique because it allows everybody to "touch" art, beyond just seeing it. There are holes on each side of the "box" inviting visitors to reach in and feel four small-scale sculptures, reproduction of the actual live-size "guardians".
