Description	Português: Área de Proteção Ambiental Baía Negra de nível Municipal, localizado (a) em Ladário (MS) Segundo o Plano de Manejo da Área de Proteção Ambiental (APA) Baía Negra, esta é a primeira Unidade de Conservação de Uso Sustentável no Pantanal, que agrega preservação ambiental e sobrevivência das populações tradicionais. Criada por meio do Decreto 1.735/2010 do Poder Executivo do município de Ladário, na área de 5.420,6 hectares estão presentes os seguintes tipos vegetacionais: mata ciliar, mata inundável, campo inundável, florestas estacionais dos tipos decidual e semidecidual. Os ecossistemas lacustres da APA estão representados pela Baía do Arrozal (na foto, em primeiro plano) e pela própria Baía Negra (ao fundo). Ambas possuem ligação com o rio Paraguai, sendo a Baía do Arrozal mais próxima à calha do rio e com influência hídrica contínua deste, enquanto que a Baía Negra fica isolada nos períodos de seca.
