Description
Svenska: År 1743 nedtogs klockstapeln vid Östra Ny kyrka, och år 1747 byggdes det nuvarande kyrktornet (se årtalet på framsidan av tornet). Tegel hämtades från Stegeborgs slott. Lars Schenmark som var prost då lät inreda en gravkammare innanför södra tornväggen. Platsen är utmärkt med en minnestavla på ytterväggen.
