Description
English:
Built to Clarissas (Poor Clares) as a church and monastery in 2nd half of the 18th C. Former State House also former Ministry of Interior with connecting buildings No. 30 and 32. Under WW2 Gestapo used for prison and as a place of execution. Úri Street side plaque of cultural heritage monument on its facade: ~It was built in the XVIII century. It was originally the church of the Clarissas. In 1784, according to the plans of F.A. Hillebrandt, it was rebuilt for the archives transferred from Bratislava Old Monument sign aka Monument XI (installed in 1865): ~In 1448 here stood the monastery and holy church of the Beguines or Poor Clares, who fled to Bratislava from the Turks. From there, this monastic order was returned to its old home in 1714, from where part of it moved in 1723 to the new monastery in Pest (which now serves as a pawnshop). After in 1784, abolished this monastic order, the building remodelled, first the 'királyi itélőtábla' (~Royal Courthouse) then the ˇ'királyi helytartótanács' (royal council of governors) moved in (from Bratislava). The new wing build in 1824 on the plot of the former Minorites monastery. A.M.T.A.R.B. 1868 A.M.T.A.R.B. = ~ Archaeological Committee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. Klarissza templom és kolostor néven védett, műemléki azonosító: 208, törzsszám: 15093. Budapest műemléki jelentőségű területe az ún. Világörökség része. Műemléki azonosító: 217, törzsszám: 15001. Műemlék táblájának felirata: Épült 1823-1824-ben a Magyar királyi helytartótanács bővitésére, az országos építési főigazgatóság tervei szerint. Másik műemlék táblájának felirata: Klarisszakolostornak épült a XVII. században 1784-ben F.A. Hillebrandt terrvei szeint átépítették a Királyi kúria számára. Később a helytartótanács működött itt. Déli oldalán a korábbi gótikus épület maradványai. Fővárosi Tanács V.B. 1970 - Harmadik (Ny-i oldal, déli) műemlék táblájának (négy bolív alatt) felirata: A XIV. sz. ban épült gótikus palotát tulajdonosa után Szerecsen háznak hívták 1410-től a Gara család majd Corvin János birtokolta. A XVIII: sz-ban beolvadt a klarissza kolostorba - Műemlék tábla XI. (Felállítás 1868, Schlosser Ferenc (kőfaragó)) Szövege: XI. Itt állott 1448-ban a beginák vagy klarisszák kolostora és szentegyháza kik a török elöl Pozsonyba menekültek. Onnan e szerzet 1714. visszakerült régi hajlékába, honnan egy része 1723 a pesti új kolostorba (mely most zálogházul szolgál) költözött. Eltöröltetvén a szerzet 1784-ben a k.itélőtáblát ennek pedig Pestre történt átszállítása után Pozsonyból a k.helytartótanácsot fogadta be az átidomított templom és kolostorba. Ezen épület ujabb szabásu szárnya 1824-ben emeltetett a néhai minorita kolostor telkén. A.M.T.A.R.B. 1868.
