English: A document from the Vietnamese National Archives related to the abdication of the Bảo Đại Emperor in 1945.
Tiếng Việt: Ngày 28/8/1945, Phái đoàn Chính phủ gửi điện cho Chính phủ lâm thời thông báo tình hình dọc đường đi và đề nghị gửi danh sách Phái đoàn vào Ủy ban nhân dân Huế với nội dung rất ngắn gọn: “Tối 27 ngủ tại Thanh Hóa, dọc đường dân chúng và dân quân đón chào. 10 giờ đến Vinh gửi ngay danh sách vào Ủy ban nhân dân Huế”. Theo lời kể của nhà thơ Huy Cận – Một trong 3 thành viên của phái đoàn Chính phủ lâm thời vào Huế tiếp nhận thoái vị của Vua Bảo Đại thì sở dĩ có nội dung bức điện này là do đồng bào chào đón phái đoàn quá nồng nhiệt, nhiều nơi bắt buộc phải ở lại dự mít tinh hay nói chuyện nên vào Huế nhận thoái vị của Vua Bảo Đại chậm theo kế hoạch của Đoàn.
