Русский: По яркости Зодиакальный свет сравним со светом Млечного Пути. Выглядит он как конус света вытянутый вдоль эклиптики и постепенно теряющий яркость по мере удаления от горизонта. На самом деле это облако межпланетной пыли, на котором рассеивается солнечный свет. Это свечение мы и наблюдаем с Земли. На фото явление расположено в центральной части кадра и проходит на фоне созвездий Тельца и Близнецов.
Зодиакальный свет в средних широтах северного полушария лучше всего наблюдать осенью перед рассветом и весной после заката, когда угол между эклиптикой и горизонтом максимален. В 2020 году весеннее ночное небо освещала яркая Венера (яркий шар недалеко от центра кадра). На момент съемки Венера имела звездную величину около -4,6, то есть была самым ярким объектом на ночном небе. Свет от планеты, пройдя через полупрозрачное облако, был рассеян, поэтому на снимке Венера и похожа на огромный сияющий шар. Также рядом с Венерой расположены два красивых звездных скопления - Плеяды (справа) и Гиады (слева).
