Русский: Первый жилой дом Ленсовета. Санкт-Петербург, наб. Карповки, 13, ул. Литераторов, 10. Один из лучших примеров так называемых Домов специалистов - жилых зданий, строительство которых активно начало производится в середине 1930-х гг.
Дом на Карповке - один из наиболее известных памятников архитектуры Ленинграда, отражающих архитектуру переходного периода от авангарда к освоению классического наследия. Авторы проекта здания архитекторы Е. А. Левинсон и И. И. Фомин. Построен дом в 1931-1935 гг. Фасад, обращенный к Карповке изогнут по дуге большого радиуса, что делает здание необыкновенно экспрессивным. Дом поднят на высокий цоколь, который должен быть защитой от затопления, при выходе реки из берегов, первый этаж занимает детский сад, на крыше - солярий. В здании расположены комфортабельные квартиры с просторными гостиными, несколькими санузлами, встроенной мебелью из древесины ценных пород, комнатами-нишами для прислуги. Двор здания обнесен высокой решеткой с рельефными вставками, во дворе устроена надежно защищенная от солнца и ветра беседка. Дом должен был стать частю общего ансамбля совместно с ДК Промкооперации и другими объектами вокруг, по оси предполагалось пробить улицу, а через Карповку должен был быть переброшен мостик. Планировочная идея так и не была реализована.
