Description
فارسی: در زمان‌های بسیار کهن در مکزیک، دختری به نام پپیتا که زندگی فقیرانه‌ای داشت، در شب کریسمس، بسیار اندوهگین، به همراه پسر عمویش، در راه رفتن به کلیسا بود. او که مایل بود در این شب، هدیه‌ای قشنگ و با ارزش را به همراه خود به کلیسا و به محضر مسیح ببرد، در طول مسیر به این فکر کرد که مهم نیست هدیه‌اش چه باشد، اگر هدیه‌اش سرشار از عشق باشد، ناچیز بودن آن جلوه‌ای نخواهد کرد. با این اندیشه گل‌های هرز روییده شده در جاده را کند و با عشق فراوان به داخل ساختمان کلیسا وارد شد و آن گل‌ها را در جامی درست زیر پای تندبس مسیح گذاشت که ناگهان معجزه‌ای روی داد و تمامی این گل‌ها با انرژی عشق این دختر کوچک، به گلی سرخ رنگ، مشهور به بنت قونسول، مبدل می‌شوند.
