Description
English: سدة الكوت هي سد يق على نهر دجلة في محافظة واسط بالعراق حيث يعتبر من اطول سدود العراق تم بناءه على يد البريطانيين في العام 1939 ميلادي وتم قصف السد في العام١٩٩١ ميلادي على يد القوات الامريكية لكن السد رغم كل هذا فهو صامد الى هذه اللحظة حيث يقوم بتوفير المياه الكافيه لاهوار جنوب العراق وكذلك يقوم بتوفير الطاقة الكهربائية
