বাংলা: শীতের শেষে বসন্তের শুরুতে গ্রাম বাংলার পথে ঘাটে অবহেলায় গজে উঠা গাছে যখন বরইয়ে ছেয়ে যায় সে একক অপরূপ দৃশ্য। ছোট থেকে বড় সবার মনেই তখন যে ইচ্ছাটি উঁকি দেয় সেটি হলো টকঝাল স্বাদের বরই ভর্তা খাওয়ার। বরই ছোট ছোট করে কেটে ধনিয়া পাতা, টমেটো, তেঁতুল, কাঁচামরিচ মিশিয়ে এটি বানানো হয়। অনেকে এর সাথে কাঁচা কলা আর কাঁঠালের মুচিও মিশিয়ে বানায়। গ্রামের খোলা জমির পাশে দল বেঁধে খাওয়ার এই খাবারটি এখন শহরে ফুটপাতেও বিক্রি করতে দেখা যায়।
English: At the end of winter and at the beginning of spring, it is a unique sight when the neglected trees on the ghats on the way to village Bengal are covered with plums. The desire that pops up in everyone's mind, young and old, is to eat plum bharta with a tangy taste. It is made by cutting plums into small pieces and mixing them with coriander leaves, tomatoes, tamarind, green chillies. Many people also mix raw banana and jackfruit cobbler with it. This food, eaten in groups by the village's open land, is now sold on the sidewalks in the city. |
