中文（臺灣）：1899年（明治32年），賀田組來到花蓮經營經濟事業，版圖擴及樟腦、製糖以及拓殖開墾，1906年（明治39年），賀田組為了響應臺灣總督府所發起的移民政策，自日本福島縣、愛媛縣，招募農民移民到花蓮的吳全城、加禮宛和鳳林，曾經發展製糖、製鹽、菸草、樟腦及採礦、航運業等等。然而，由於複雜因素，賀田組的移民計畫最終以失敗收場，隔年，許多移民向賀田組解約，並返回日本國土。由照片中的景象可以得知，移民吳全城的農民生活資源貧乏，終致賀田組辦理的私人移民村計畫宣告失敗。本資料出自於《顧我洄瀾：花蓮歷史影像集》，此書由花蓮出身的葉柏強先生撰寫，是一本擁有大量歷史影像的書籍，於2016年（民國105年）出版，可以透過此書了解花蓮的城市變遷樣貌。 |
